چکیده
A quantum description of the surface waves in an isotropic elastic body without use semiclassical quantization is proposed. The problem about formulated Lagrangian and Hamiltonian representations. Within framework generalized Debye model, contribution phonons (“rayleighons”) to thermodynamic functions calculated. It emphasized that role can be significant even decisive low-dimensional systems, granular porous media, their total heat capacity increases with decreasing temperature.

the use of appropriate madm model for ranking the vendors of mci equipments using fuzzy approach
abstract nowadays, the science of decision making has been paid to more attention due to the complexity of the problems of suppliers selection. as known, one of the efficient tools in economic and human resources development is the extension of communication networks in developing countries. so, the proper selection of suppliers of tc equipments is of concern very much. in this study, a ...

A thermodynamic system of equally charged, plus and minus, classical particles constrained to move in a (spherical) ball is studied in a region of parameters in which Debye screening takes place. The activities of the two charge species are not taken as necessarily equal. We must deal with two physically interesting surface effects, the formation of a surface charge layer, and long range forces...

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
Phonons at the Fe(110) surface.
The in-plane density of phonon states of clean Fe(110) surface was measured separately for the first, second, and further atomic monolayers using nuclear inelastic scattering of synchrotron radiation. The results show that atoms of the first layer vibrate with frequencies significantly lower and amplitudes much larger than those in the bulk, and that vibrational spectra along two perpendicular ...
متن کاملFinite Debye-Waller factor for "classical" atom-surface scattering.
We consider atom-surface scattering at low surface temperature, fixed incident energy and fixed interaction potential. We examine the limit as the mass m of the incident particle -oc, and thus its de Broglie wavelength --* 0. We show that in this "classical" limit, the Debye-Waller factor (a quantum effect) for the strictly elastic scattering amplitude tends to a finite limit. We propose scatte...
